The Bahai`is of Gainesville are guided by a Local Spiritual Assembly (LSA), comprised of nine members of the community, which has been elected annually since 1963. Community members work together, caring for the Baha`i Center where Nineteen-Day Feasts and Holy Day commemorations take place, as well as a variety of other activities including study circles, devotional gatherings and children's classes.
